About Community Homeless Solutions

Community Homeless Solutions is Monterey County’s largest provider of homeless transitional housing and emergency shelter beds, including shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence. 

Mission Statement

To lead in ending the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness by providing safe housing, compassionate support, and opportunities for self-sufficiency through outreach, emergency shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing and supportive services throughout Monterey County.

About Our Programs

We believe that safe housing coupled with supportive services are critical to helping individuals and families make the progression from homelessness and domestic violence to stable, safe, and independent living.

Domestic Violence

Providing two safe and secure emergency shelters for women and children of domestic violence abuse in Monterey County.

Housing

Temporary and permanent housing for women, men and families in transition. Respite care and seasonal warming shelter.

Supportive Services

Case management, counseling, employment assistance, food pantry, transportation, clothes closet, day center, referral and social services.
