We believe that safe housing coupled with supportive services are critical to helping individuals and families make the progression from homelessness and domestic violence to stable, safe, and independent living.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

Through our seven programs plus additional services we provide individuals who are in need in Monterey County with emergency shelters, warming shelters, permanent housing, confidential safe housing, weekly case management, counseling, legal advocacy and support, continuing education, job training, and linkage to community resources.

HOUSING
PROGRAM

We operate at various locations 2 housing programs providing a total of 129 beds and offer long term housing and support services.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTERS

We provide shelter and support services to survivors of domestic violence through the operation of  two emergency shelters at confidential locations in the cities of Monterey and Salinas.

CHINATOWN NAVIGATION CENTER

Provides overnight housing to 16 homeless individuals at a facility in downtown Salinas. Also, provides showers and other resources daily to homeless individuals in the area.

H.O.M.E. RESOURCE CENTER

Community Homeless Solutions operates the first year-round shelter in San Benito County and serves up to 50 adults each night.

CENTRAL COAST RESPITE CENTER

Provides homeless adults with a bed to recuperate following their stay at local hospitals. Supported by Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, Natividad Medical Center and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
