ADOPT A PROGRAM
You can “adopt” a program by donating resources on a regular basis to underwrite the costs of a specific program of your choice, e.g., our Women-In-Transition Program.
ADOPT A CLIENT
You can also choose to "adopt a client” or to “adopt a family” to cover the agency’s costs for housing and serving a client or family participating in a specific program.
Through our six programs plus additional services, we provide individuals who are in need in Monterey County with emergency shelters, transitional housing, permanent housing, confidential safe housing, case management, counseling, legal advocacy and support, continuing education, job training, and linkage to community resources.
We keep the identity of donors and adoptees anonymous to each other, unless both agree to meet.
